Five Island cadet volunteers honoured with King's Coronation Medal
Five cadet force adult volunteers from the Isle of Wight were awarded the King's Coronation Medal in a ceremony led by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire.
The King's Coronation Medal marks the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on May 6, 2023.
It has been awarded to over 400,000 individuals, including military personnel and emergency workers, with at least five years of service.

Among the Island recipients was Lieutenant Jacqui Wright of Gallipoli Company, who shared her pride in receiving the medal.
She said: 'To receive the King's Coronation Medal alongside fellow volunteers was a proud moment.
'It's a privilege to be awarded the medal in an organisation I'm passionate about, and sharing that moment with such dedicated individuals made it all the more special.'
Colonel Tim Hope, Commandant of Hampshire and IW Army Cadet Force praised the volunteers for their dedication.
'Our volunteers give countless hours to support cadets. This medal presentation was a way to recognise their commitment,' he said.
