Technical glitch:Jaipur-Dubai AI Express flightcancelled
Jaipur: Air India Express flight IX 195 from Jaipur to Dubai was cancelled on Monday morning due to technical glitches just before take-off. The flight, scheduled to depart at 5.30am, reached the taxiway at 6am but failed to take off. Engineers worked on the aircraft for about two hours at the apron. A second take-off attempt was made around 9am, but when the technical issues persisted until 11am, the airline cancelled the flight. Kathan Taparia, a passenger, posted on X: "Horrifying experience on Air India Express... Delayed by 1.5 hrs, take-off aborted twice due to technical issues. Pilot turned back the first time, tried again after 'repairs', failed again. Four hours stuck inside. No safety checks?" An Air India Express spokesperson said alternative arrangements were made for affected passengers, including hotel accommodation for those choosing to travel on Tuesday's flight. "We regret the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of our Jaipur–Dubai flight today (Monday) after a technical issue with the scheduled aircraft," the spokesperson said, adding that full refunds were provided to passengers who didn't opt for complimentary rescheduling. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trading CFD dengan Teknologi dan Kecepatan Lebih Baik IC Markets Mendaftar Undo On June 13, passengers on the Dubai-Jaipur Air India Express flight IX 196 were stranded for five hours with complaints about non-functional AC. Dubai-Jaipur flight AC was working: Air India Express
Jaipur: Almost a week after a video of an Air India Express flight IX 196 from Dubai to Jaipur on June 13 went viral, where passengers claimed they were stranded for five hours in the aircraft without air-conditioning, the airlines said Thursday that the air conditioning was working normally but the cooling effect does not feel optimal when the aircraft remains on the ground. In a statement issued Thursday, Air India Express said, "The air conditioning system was functioning normally; however, when an aircraft remains on the ground with its doors open for an extended period, especially in hot weather conditions like those in Dubai, the cooling effect may not feel optimal until after take-off." tnn
