Tunisia: Russian firm RKS LLC eyes Enfidha Deepwater Port and Sousse Smart City Projects
A high-level Russian delegation from RKS NR LLC, led by Deputy General Director for Development Islamov Marat, along with International Projects Advisor Ibatullin Arthur and North Africa Advisor Evgenii Churdalev, accompanied by Riahi Chahir, RKS's representative in Tunisia, conducted an exploratory visit to Tunisia on April 7-8, 2025.
The delegation assessed potential cooperation and investment opportunities in key infrastructure sectors, including airports, smart cities, and deepwater ports.
RKS NR LLC, a subsidiary of RosKapStroy Group, specializes in strategic and priority international projects and operates under the supervision of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities.
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the delegation was received at FIPA-Tunisia headquarters by Director General Jalel Tebib, who outlined Tunisia's business climate and incentives for foreign investors.
The Russian delegation also held discussions with senior officials from relevant Tunisian ministries overseeing the targeted sectors.
