St. Gabriel man dies in crash near East Iberville High School
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A St. Gabriel man died in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 15.
Patrick Nelson Jr. was killed after his vehicle overturned around 9:37 p.m. near Louisiana Highway 75. The St. Gabriel Police Department, medical responders and the Iberville Parish Coroner's Office were called to the scene, which was not far from East Iberville High School.
When they arrived, they found Nelson, Jr. in the overturned vehicle. SGPD said emergency personnel attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and toxicology results are forthcoming.
