Advisor to Egypt's Mufti: Moderate Fatwas Are Key Tools against Islamophobia, Extremism

Mohamed Mandour During his participation in the two-day International Conference titled "Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas", held in Baku, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Senior Advisor to Egypt's Grand Mufti and Secretary-General of the Fatwa Authorities World, emphasized that moderate fatwas have become crucial in correcting misconceptions about Islam, combating extremism, and safeguarding societies from hate speech. He praised Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta for its global leadership in providing credible religious guidance and challenging extremist narratives.
