Morgan Wallen Claims The Top Two Country Albums In America — And He's About To Score A New No. 1

In just a few days, Morgan Wallen will hit No. 1 on several of Billboard's albums rankings, as his new full-length I'm the Problem is expected to score one of the largest debuts of 2025. It will certainly conquer the Top Country Albums chart, where it could reign for months — or even well over a year — as several of his past efforts have. Just ahead of earning another chart-topper, Wallen is already dominating the tally, and he doesn't only control the No. 1 spot, either. As the genre's biggest star at the moment, Wallen currently claims the top two spots on the roster. The Billboard tally ranks the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the style, blending both sales and streaming data. It's not unusual for Wallen to appear near the summit — or even land at No. 1 — but the fact that he occupies the uppermost two positions simultaneously, just ahead of earning a new leader, is impressive. This frame, One Thing at a Time remains at No. 1, while Dangerous: The Double Album steps up from No. 3 to No. 2. That latter set swaps spots with Where I've Been Isn't Where I'm Going by Shaboozey. One Thing at a Time has now spent 86 weeks at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. Dangerous lived at the top even longer. It needs just three more stays on the throne to reach 100 frames leading the tally. Both projects have lived on the list for years, and One Thing at a Time has racked up more stays at No. 1 than not. Wallen's longest-charting project on the Top Country Albums list is If I Know Me, his debut full-length. At the moment, that effort sits at No. 14, dropping ever so slightly, but it could climb back into the top 10 in a few days when Billboard refreshes the ranking – when I'm the Problem is all but guaranteed to launch at No. 1. If I Know Me earned Wallen his first No. 1 on the Top Country Albums tally back in August 2020. It has now spent just two turns in the top spot out of 362 weeks on the list — well over 100 more than Dangerous, his second-longest-running success.
