KOTA KINABALU: Parti Ikatan Demokratik Malaysia (Muda) is expected to contest no more than 10 seats in the upcoming 17th State Election this year. Acting Sabah Muda chairperson Faezrah Rizalman said the decision was based on the party's current grassroots strength as it continues to build its presence. She said Muda would focus on urban constituencies where its influence is stronger, despite having around 5,000 members statewide. Faezrah also did not rule out contesting herself but said any official decision would be made at the appropriate time. Meanwhile, Acting Muda President Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz confirmed that Muda Sabah has full autonomy to decide on its participation in the state election. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
