One airlifted after rollover crash on I-57 in Coles County
COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — One person was hurt Monday night in a single-vehicle crash on I-57 in Coles County
The crash happened at milepost 197, six miles south of Arcola, just after 8 p.m. Officials from the Ilinois State Police said the car involved, a 2016 Dodge Dart, went off the southbound lanes and into the median, where it rolled over.
State Police respond to UTV crash in Ford Co., two hospitalized
The driver and sole occupant of the car was airlifted from the scene and was taken to a regional hospital with injuries. There is no word on their condition.
I-57 was shut down for approximately 50 minutes while first responders were on the scene. The highway reopened at 8:50 p.m.
