IMSIU Makes Significant Strides in QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2025
Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) has achieved remarkable progress in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2025, showcasing advancements in 14 academic disciplines—a substantial increase from just five the previous year.
This achievement underscores the university's unwavering dedication to academic and research excellence, in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives for enhancing university education and strengthening global competitiveness.
IMSIU secured positions within the top 400 globally in three major fields: 350th in Arts and Humanities, 361st in Social Sciences and Management, and 380th in Engineering and Technology. Additionally, it was ranked in the 501-550 range for Natural Sciences.
The university demonstrated exceptional performance at the subject level, earning rankings in ten disciplines. Notably, Mathematics was placed in the 301-350 range, while Accounting and Finance made its debut in the 301-375 category. Other disciplines such as Education, Computer Science, Business Administration, and Economics also featured prominently. Furthermore, IMSIU gained global recognition for the first time in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and Medicine, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey.
