British Empire Exhibition: the greatest show on Earth

To-day His Majesty the King-Emperor will in person reopen the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley. The ceremony in the Stadium will be invested with all the pomp and circumstance proper to a great Imperial occasion. The authorities responsible for the arrangements of the gigantic organization, both within and without the Exhibition grounds, have had the advantage of a whole summer's experience in the handling of large crowds; and it has been proved that enormous masses of sightseers can be conveyed to and from Wembley easily and quickly and in reasonable comfort.
