As Saudi Arabia is preparing for Eid Al-Fitr, AlUla offers immersive experiences and vibrant festivities to celebrate the unique occasion.
Eid Al-Fitr is an Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal. Saudi Arabia has announced a 4-day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors to mark the occasion.
Moreover, the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has launched Eid Al-Fitr 2025 events, featuring a wide array of music concerts, theatrical performances, fireworks displays, and various entertainment activities across the Kingdom's regions.
Eid Al-Fitr 2025 in AlUla
During Eid Al-Fitr 2025, AlUla hosts unique celebrations, featuring a blend of cultural and entertainment experiences. AlUla is home to various natural wonders, heritage sites and historical landmarks dating back to the Nabataean age.
From music concerts to stargazing, hot air balloon rides, and culinary delights, AlUla promises extraordinary festivities to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
Incense Road Experience
From March 31 to April 10, 2025, Al-Jadidah District hosts a unique incense-making workshop. Visitors will have the chance to make their own personalized scents in a practical experience that lasts for 20 minutes.
The Incense Road experience also offers an exciting journey through the Old Town, where visitors can explore AlUla's history and heritage. They can encounter ancient artifacts, get introduced to legendary figures from the ancient world, explore aromatic plants, and enjoy creating their own incense blends.
Keinemusik Concert
For the first time, the German-based Keinemusik will bring an exceptional collection of global music to AlUla. On April 4, 2025, DJs and producers Adam Port, &ME, and Rampa will play their signature beats in the ancient oasis city.
Keinemusik will dazzle audiences with a fusion of techno, deep house, afrobeats, and hip-hop rhythms in a multi-sensory experience in the heart of AlUla's enchanting desert.
AlUla's Adventures
The Hot Air Balloons is one of AlUla's outstanding experiences. Explore AlUla's charming desert and stunning landscapes from 1,200 meters up in the air.
Moreover, visitors can take part in AlUla Zipline adventure. They can enjoy the breathtaking views of AlUla while gliding through the air across the longest and fastest zipline, racing 1.5km at up to 120km/h speed.
Stargazing in AlUla
AlUla is a perfect hub for stargazing and astrotourism owing to its natural beauty and clear skies. Gharameel, an accredited Dark Sky Park, offers a rare view of the Milky Way, where millions of stars are visible without telescopes.
Visitors of Gharameel can enjoy the spectacular view of the skies and constellations amid the stunning landscape of the mystical rock formations.
