China unveils deadliest nuclear missile, 200 times more powerful than..., range up to 12000 kms, can hit US anywhere, name is...

China has, for the first time, disclosed the capabilities of its powerful intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the DF-5B which plays a major role in China's nuclear defense strategy. With a range that can reach the United States, it is considered one of the deadliest and most powerful weapons in China's missile arsenal. It is no doubt that China's nuclear program has always been very secretive, so the public disclosure of the DF-5B's abilities has come as a surprise. Interestingly, this revelation has come at a time when tensions between China and the US are already high due to ongoing trade disputes. Can carry multiple nuclear warheads According to China's state broadcaster, the DF-5B is described as the country's first-generation strategic ICBM. It is a major upgrade of the earlier DF-5 model, developed during the Cold War era. One of the most significant improvements is the use of MIRV (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle) technology. This allows the missile to carry and release several nuclear warheads at once. Unlike the original DF-5, which could carry only one warhead, the DF-5B is believed to carry between six and ten. Each of these warheads can re-enter the Earth's atmosphere on its own path, making it extremely difficult for missile defense systems to stop them all. In addition, the DF-5B is equipped with satellite-assisted navigation, giving it far more accuracy than earlier versions which makes the missile not only more destructive but also more precise in hitting its targets. 200 times more powerful than atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki China's intercontinental missile, the DF-5B, can carry a nuclear warhead with a blast power of about 3 to 4 megatons of TNT. To put that in perspective, this is nearly 200 times more powerful than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. The DF-5 missile was first developed in the early 1970s and officially became part of China's defense system in 1981. Since then, it has played a key role in China's nuclear strategy, acting as a strong deterrent. Can reach the US and Europe The DF-5B has an impressive range of up to 12,000 kilometers. This means it can reach targets in the United States and Western Europe. Despite its size and age, it can strike within 500 meters of its target, which is considered very accurate in military terms. According to Chinese media, the missile is massive and is about 32.6 meters long, 3.35 meters in diameter, and weighs around 183 tons. Its size and power make it one of the most dangerous missiles in China's arsenal today. China expanding its nuclear arsenal China is rapidly strengthening and modernizing its nuclear weapons stockpile. According to a report by the Pentagon last year, China currently possesses over 600 active nuclear warheads. This number is expected to cross 1,000 by the year 2030. The report also stated that China has built around 320 missile silos at three major locations. Despite this expansion, Beijing maintains a 'No First Use' policy — meaning it has pledged not to use nuclear weapons unless attacked first. China has also assured that it will not use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear countries.
