Caste census aims at uniting the country: RSS functionary
Gaya: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) senior functionary Indresh Kumar , while addressing the day-long seminar on 'religious culture confluence as the keynote speaker, said that the purpose of the caste census in the country is not to divide it on the basis of caste or merely for vote bank politics, but it is aimed at uniting the country. The event was organised at Radhakrishnan Auditorium of the education department at Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, on Sunday. "The basic mantra of unity in diversity is inherent in Indian culture. A multilingual India can communicate and will also be free from global violence and discrimination. India has rejected the mediation of other countries. Love for the nation is the main basis of creating a 'New India'. We all should love our language, caste, and religion and not hate others," he said. Magadh University Vice-Chancellor Prof Shashi Pratap Shahi, who presided over the seminar, presented a geographical and educational introduction of Magadh University. He informed the guests about how the university is progressing towards its ancient glory. Union minister of state for coal and mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, said that the British and the Mughals came to India, divided the country, and left. He appealed for a collective effort by every citizen towards a 'self-reliant India', ' Make in India ', 'startup-oriented India', and 'developed India @2047', the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Efforts are being made to establish India as an undivided state, he said. SC/ST welfare minister in the state govt, Janak Ram, a special guest on the occasion, said that giving importance to national values over personal interests makes nationalism unbroken and strong. Global recognition can be achieved only by empowering the nation. Bhante Sheel Ratna expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister for according classical language status to Pali, which he said will play an important role in making India a world leader. Vivekanand Giri of Bodh Gaya Math said, 'Nationalism is born from compassion, love, kindness, and heartfelt cooperation. Our nation is eternal and permanent.' All the guests participated in a Pancheel yatra taken out on Sunday evening from the world heritage Mahabodhi Mahavihara to the Bodh Gaya Math.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 8 (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar on Thursday said that for over 70 years, Pakistan has carried out attacks along India's borders, and the Indian government is determined to give a befitting reply He added that the concluding point will be the breaking of Pakistan. Speaking to ANI, RSS leader Indresh Kumar said, 'For over 70 years, Pakistan has waged a bloody campaign at Indian borders... Pakistan is imploding from within... The government of India is resolved to give a befitting reply to Pakistan. The concluding point is a breaking Pakistan. The nation that was carved out in 1947 may not remain the same - perhaps it will fragment into multiple nations...' Earlier in the day, addressing the Ministry of External Affairs' (MEA) press briefing, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said that India's Integrated Counter-UAS Grid and Air Defence systems successfully neutralised the threats. She further said that in response to Pakistan's attempted attacks, the Indian Armed Forces this morning targeted multiple air defence radars and systems across Pakistan. Speaking about Wednesday's press briefing on 'Operation Sindoor', Colonel Qureshi said, 'During the press briefing on operation Sindoor on 07 May 2025, India had called its response as focused, measured and non-escalatory. It was specifically mentioned that Pakistani military establishments had not been targeted. It was also reiterated that any attack on military targets in India will invite a suitable response.' 'On the night of 07-08 May 2025, Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, using drones and missiles. People feel Pakistan will split into five pieces and disintegrate: RSS leader Indresh Kumar
Indore: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar on Thursday said people feel that Pakistan, which has been witnessing violence and bloodshed since its birth, will get split into five pieces and disintegrate. His comments come a day after Indian armed forces destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. Speaking at the Christian community's "GAFCON-ABCI North India Leaders' Conference" in Indore, Kumar said, "We do not know what will happen to Pakistan, but people are saying that this country will break into five parts and disintegrate." "Some people say that violence and bloodshed have been taking place in Pakistan ever since it was born. They are also saying that Pakistan is now 80 years old and that country's time was up as whoever is born, dies," he said. Underlining the Sanatan culture of India, Kumar said the country does not have a birth date, while everyone knows the birth date of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Talking to PTI after the event, he said, "Voices are emerging from within Pakistan that Sindh, Balochistan, Pashtun area and Pakistan's Punjab want independence from the country while Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir wants to merge with India." These five movements are giving out a message that Pakistan's actions will decide whether this country will continue to exist or not, the RSS leader said. Hailing Operation Sindoor carried out by the Indian armed forces against terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK, he said the people of India waited patiently for this campaign. "People are happy with this campaign. We salute the Indian government, the army and the entire country for this campaign," Kumar added. The precise attacks by the Indian armed forces show they had reconnoitred terrorist hideouts long ago and their preparation was very strong, he said. Kumar also noted that India should rise above caste, party, sect, language, among other things, and move forward towards ending terrorism and teaching a lesson to Pakistan.
