Ex-Celtic player Kolo Toure 'in line' for Man City role
The Ivorian is reportedly under consideration to join the staff at the Premier League giants after they lost coaches Juanma Lillo, Inigo Domínguez and Carlos Vicens.
Rivalling him though is Pep Lijnders, who worked under Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers and stayed on the staff to be a key member under Jurgen Klopp.
He most recently managed Red Bull Salzburg, his second stint as a boss after one at NEC Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: "Kolo Touré and Pep Lijnders are two options under consideration at Manchester City to be part of Pep Guardiola's staff.

Toure finished his playing career with Celtic, playing for just one season in the 2016/17 campaign. He had previously been at Liverpool under Rodgers, who made the decision to utilise his experience.
He then started his coaching career at the club before making the move to Leicester with Rodgers.
Most recently, the 44-year-old was a manager in his own right with Wigan Athletic.
Should he land the job at City, he would be returning to another of his former clubs. Toure had four years there and made over 100 appearances.
