Inside Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz' relationship timeline amid ongoing family feud

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's relationship has been branded as "unhealthy" amid fears that the US actress, who tied the knot with the eldest Beckham son in 2022, is "isolating" him from his family. Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been no strangers to the headlines as of late due to their apparent fall out with the rest of the Beckham clan. Since Nicola's first arrival on the scene, there have been numerous rumours of rifts between her and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham over trivial disputes such as wedding dresses - but there was never any signs of Brooklyn being involved until now. The pair are said to be embroiled in a tense family feud with Brooklyn's family after they failed to attend David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month. Brooklyn, who is David and Victoria's eldest son, appears to be putting some distance between himself and his usually tight-knit family as he has failed to publicly acknowledge either of his parents on social media during their birthdays this year. ‌ However, his latest Instagram post, dedicated to Nicola, made his stance very clear on whose side he would be picking when it came to his wife or the Beckhams. Sharing a video of him driving a motorbike with the American actress on the back, he wrote: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby." ‌ It comes amid fears that Brooklyn's relationship with Nicola is "unhealthy" and that she is "isolating" him from his family. Brooklyn's infatuation with the Bates Motel star is clear in his 70 tattoos he has dedicated to her on his body, which sources say that close friends of the Beckhams are somewhat alarmed by. The 26-year-old, whose been branded as Nicola's "puppet" also appeared to fall hard and fast for Nicola, 30, having moved very fast in their relationship by popping the question to her within just nine months of dating. Brooklyn and Nicola's relationship dates back to 2019 when they are said to have hit it off at Leonardo's DiCaprio's Halloween party. However, the pair first met a few years before hand at the Coachella Music Festival in 2019, where they have were reportedly introduced by Nicola's brother, Diesel, with the pair initially not clicking. Fast forward just three years after their first meeting, the aspiring chef and American actress announced their plans to get married and they officially tied the knot in 2022. Here we take a closer look at their relationship timeline... ‌ Beginning of relationship Brooklyn and Nicola first started dating in October 2019, sparking romance rumours after they were spotted out for dinner following a Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio. The pair didn't go "Instagram official" until January 2020 but Beckham later confirmed their anniversary date when he celebrated one year of their relationship together on October 29 2020. Instagram Official Peltz hard-launched her relationship with Brooklyn on Instagram in a steamy mirror selfie. ‌ The couple are known for their PDA-filled snaps and the one she posted on January 2 2020 kicked off this trend. Brooklyn also posted a series of casual pictures to his Instagram to confirm their relationship. The first snap was a solo photo of Nicola, the second was of him in bed and the third showed the pair sitting beside one another. ‌ Public debut After confirming their relationship online, Brooklyn and Nicola made their first public appearance as a couple at the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week on February 25 2020. They wore matching black outfits and lovingly gazed into each other's eyes for the camera. Engagement Only after about six months of announcing their relationship, the pair were officially engaged in July 2020. ‌ They shared their big news on Instagram on July 11 with a sweet snap of them embracing one another in a field, although Brooklyn revealed he had popped the question about two weeks before hand. He wrote: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx." ‌ Peltz shared her own message: "You've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby and thank you harper for this pic." Wedding day Two years after confirming their relationship, Beckham and Peltz officially tied the knot on April 9, 2022. Their big day was an elegant black tie event which was held on the Peltz's family estate in Palm Beach, Florida. ‌ The entire Beckham clan were in attendance, as well as Nicola's family, which includes her businessman father Nelson Peltz, model mother Claudia Heffner and her seven siblings, including professional hockey player Brad Peltz and actor Will Peltz. Other famous family friends also made an appearance including Serena and Venus Williams, Jordana Brewster, Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria. By this point, rumours were already rife that Nicola and her mother in-law were not getting along after the actress didn't wear a Victoria Beckham designed wedding gown on her big day. ‌ Nicola addresses Victoria 'feud' On their big day, Nicola opted to wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture instead of a dress created by Victoria Beckham. This move sparked widespread speculation that Peltz and the Spice Girl star were at odds. However, in an interview with Variety, Nicola revealed why she made that decision, shutting down any rumours of animosity between the two. ‌ She said: "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that." Brooklyn also shut down any bad feelings between his wife and mother, saying: "I've learned they're always going to try to write stuff like that. They're always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good." ‌ Marriage tattoos Brooklyn's body art collection in honour of Nicola started not long after they tied the knot with the 26-year-old getting the word "married" tattooed on the left side of his hand. He shared the new ink with fans, writing: "Surprised my baby." This was the second time that the eldest Beckham son had honoured his new marriage commitment, having previously tattooed his wedding vows on his arm. ‌ Nicola has also gotten some romantic ink, getting a "Brooklyn" tattoo on her upper back. Brooklyn talks kids In November 2022, Brooklyn spoke to PEOPLE about newlywed life as he discussed the idea of expanding his family. He said: "I could have had kids yesterday. Obviously it's my wife's body, but I've always wanted to have a bunch of kids around. That's something I really want to do. ‌ "And my dad was young when he had me. He was 23. And I'm 23 now. I've always wanted to be a young dad." Nicola's 30th celebrations Nicola Peltz celebrated her milestone 30th birthday on January 9 this year with Brooklyn taking to Instagram to share a sweet post about his wife. He wrote: " You make me smile and laugh and you are the most amazing and most gorgeous person I know. I just love the way you are. You are perfect in every way." However, Nicola was not the only one to celebrate a big birthday this year as Brooklyn's father, David, turned 50 in May. Unlike his post for Nicola, Brooklyn failed to publicly acknowledge his dad's big day and also snubbed his birthday celebrations.

The Zodiac Signs as Influencers: Discover Their Unique Social Media Personas

Let's be real: every zodiac sign harbors the potential to become that influencer. The one who makes you scroll past with a mix of fascination and genuine concern for their grasp on reality. If the astrological archetypes were flashing red flags in the influencer landscape, here's what you'd see: Aries – The Gym Selfie Warrior with DM Drama: Their feed is a shrine to #NoPainNoGain, sculpted abs, and aggressive motivational quotes. Simultaneously, their DMs are a warzone, constantly embroiled in feuds with rival fitness gurus. Expect rapid unfollows and re-follows, blamed on "the algorithm." Taurus – The "$300 Candle = Self-Care" Enthusiast: Their aesthetic is immaculate, their content 100% sponsored, and their "woke up like this" posts clearly involved a team of editors working until 3 AM. Do NOT trust them with an affiliate link; your wallet will weep. Gemini – The Contradictory Content Creator: One day it's a deep dive into minimalist living, the next they're embracing maximalist chaos, and tomorrow they're selling the dream of van life. Their only constant is bewildering captions and hyper-specific polls nobody asked for. Cancer – The Crying-on-Live Essential Oil Peddler: These sensitive souls have perfected the art of monetizing emotional breakdowns. A "heartfelt reflection" on a difficult day will inevitably conclude with a suspiciously convenient affiliate code for healing essential oils. Leo – The 30-Photo Birthday Carousel King/Queen: Every occasion is their main event. They'll declare "it's not about the numbers" while obsessively refreshing their story views like a stock market ticker. Friends in group photos? Only tagged if they strategically enhance the Leo's glow. Virgo – The 25-Step Skincare Gaslighter: Their "simple" nighttime routine looks like a pharmaceutical convention. They'll correct your grammar in the comments section and insist their obsessive perfectionism is merely "being authentic." Libra – The Fake-Deep Mirror Selfie Artist: Their Instagram grid is curated to perfection, but feels vaguely hollow. Captions are ponderous and philosophical, accompanying mirror selfies that clearly took 57 attempts. They promote every brand under the sun, except emotional honesty. Scorpio – The Mysterious Disappearing Act: Prone to deleting their entire feed without warning, only to reappear weeks later with cryptic, black-and-white content announcing a "new era." Leaves followers wondering if they've joined a cult or simply moved to a remote cabin with no Wi-Fi. Sagittarius – The Digital Nomad Guru Who Can't Book a Flight: Their bio screams "citizen of the world," yet they've been "based" in Goa since 2019. They'll sell you a course on achieving ultimate freedom while secretly struggling to navigate basic airline booking systems. Capricorn – The Productivity Flexer with a Secret Team: Posts motivational "rise and grind" reels at 5 AM, usually while still in bed, their social team running the show. Expect LinkedIn-esque captions on Instagram and a masterful ability to turn personal trauma into a branding opportunity. Aquarius – The Anti-Influencer Influencer: Too cool for conventional hashtags, too quirky for consistent aesthetics. They'll wear socks as gloves in an outfit post and somehow, inexplicably, start a trend. Their content is deliberately unconventional. Pisces – The "Trust the Universe" Crystal Seller: Lives in a perpetual soft-focus filter. Everything is "healing" and "manifesting," except their ability to meet deadlines. Their mood boards are pure dreamscapes, but their contracts are a chaotic mess. Babil Khan confirms dropping out of Sai Rajesh's film after social media spat with the director: 'Things didn't go ahead as everyone planned...'

Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, is no longer collaborating with filmmaker Sai Rajesh on an upcoming project, citing unforeseen circumstances. This follows a viral video of Khan's emotional breakdown and a subsequent social media exchange between him and Rajesh. Both Khan and Rajesh have expressed mutual respect and hope for future collaborations, despite the current setback. Babil Khan recently grabbed headlines after an emotional video of him breaking down went viral. Following that, the late Irrfan Khan 's son stirred controversy by calling out several Bollywood stars—including Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi—for their rude behavior. The drama didn't stop there. What followed was a heated exchange on social media between Babil and filmmaker Sai Rajesh , with whom he was supposed to collaborate on an upcoming project. Now, it seems the cracks have deepened. In a surprising twist, Babil took to Instagram to announce that he is no longer working with the filmmaker—hinting that all is definitely not well in their professional equation. Check out his post here: by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Scarlett Johansson Shows Off Her Jaw-Dropping Figure - See Photos 33 Bridges Undo He wrote, 'With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn't go ahead as everyone had planned.' In the same post, Babil Khan shared that he would be taking a break from work to focus on himself. Despite parting ways with filmmaker Sai Rajesh, he maintained a gracious tone, wishing him and the entire team the very best for their journey ahead. Wrapping up his note on a hopeful and heartfelt note, the Qala star wrote, 'I know there is immense love between us, and we will meet soon in the future and create magic together.' On the other hand, filmmaker Sai Rajesh also took to social media to share the news with his fans and followers. He praised Babil Khan, calling him 'the most talented and hardworking actor,' and acknowledged the effort they had already put into prepping for the film. While it's clear the project had begun taking shape, Babil's decision to prioritize self-care led him to step away from the film—for now. 'I will miss my hero,' wrote Rajesh, who sent Babil all the love and wished to collaborate with him in the future. 'I know we both will create that magic together for sure,' he wrote in his last line. Soon after Babil Khan's emotional breakdown video went viral, his team released a statement to clarify the context. They explained that Babil mentioned names like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi , Raghav Juyal , Adarsh Gourav , Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh in the video not out of criticism, but because he genuinely admires them. However, filmmaker Sai Rajesh didn't seem convinced. Reacting to the clarification, he took to Instagram and penned a pointed note, questioning the narrative and writing, 'The rest of us are just fools for standing by him all this while?' His reaction added another layer to the ongoing tension between the actor and the director. Babil later took to the comments section and expressed, 'You really broke my heart. After everything I've given to you.' Babil went on to state that he gave 2 years of his life to Rajesh and underwent 'complete physical atrocity' so he could do justice to the filmmaker's character.

Bill Gates to give away fortune by 2045

Published on: Thursday, May 08, 2025 Published on: Thu, May 08, 2025 By: Reuters Text Size: LONDON: Bill Gates ( pic ) pledged on Thursday to give away almost his entire personal wealth in the next two decades and said the world's poorest would receive some $200 billion via his foundation at a time when governments worldwide are slashing international aid. The 69-year-old billionaire Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist said he was speeding up plans to divest his fortune and close the Gates Foundation on Dec. 31, 2045. "People will say a lot of things about me when I die, but I am determined that 'he died rich' will not be one of them," Gates wrote in a post on his website. "There are too many urgent problems to solve for me to hold onto resources that could be used to help people." In an implicit rebuke to President Donald Trump's slashing of aid from the world's biggest donor the United States, Gates' statement said he wanted to help stop newborn babies, children and mothers dying of preventable causes, end diseases like polio, malaria and measles, and reduce poverty. "It's unclear whether the world's richest countries will continue to stand up for its poorest people," he added, noting cuts from major donors also including the UK and France. Gates said that despite the foundation's deep pockets, progress would not be possible without government support. He praised the response to aid cuts in Africa, where some governments have reallocated budgets, but said that as an example polio would not be eradicated without U.S. funding. Gates made the announcement on the foundation's 25th anniversary. He set up the organization with his then-wife Melinda French Gates in 2000, and they were later joined by investor Warren Buffett. "I have come a long way since I was just a kid starting a software company with my friend from middle school," he said. Foundation has given US$100b Since its inception, the foundation has given away $100 billion, helping to save millions of lives and backing initiatives like the vaccine group Gavi and the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It will close after it spends around 99 per cent of his personal fortune, Gates said. The founders originally expected the foundation to wrap up in the decades after their deaths. Gates, who is valued at around $108 billion today, expects the foundation to spend around $200 billion by 2045, with the final figure dependent on markets and inflation. The foundation is already a huge player in global health, with an annual budget that will reach $9 billion by 2026. It has faced criticism for its outsize power and influence in the field without the requisite accountability, including at the World Health Organisation. Gates himself was also subject to conspiracy theories, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Gates has also spoken to U.S. President Donald Trump several times in recent months on the importance of continued investment in global health. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
