A Georgia lottery player tested their luck — and netted a top prize. Someone hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, winning $150,000 in the drawing Wednesday, May 28, the Georgia Lottery's website says. The winning ticket, sold at a Publix Super Market in Sandy Springs, matched all five numbers, officials confirmed. The winner has not yet come forward as of May 29, according to lottery officials. The winning Fantasy 5 numbers were 3-28-31-35-36, results show. The odds of snagging the jackpot prize are 1-in-850,668, according to the lottery's website. It's the latest big lottery win for the Peach State, coming a week after an Instant Ca$h scratcher game sold in Chickamauga netted a jackpot prize worth $1 million, McClatchy News reported. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Georgia Lottery said. Sandy Springs is about a 20-mile drive north from downtown Atlanta.

The winner bought the $10 ticket at a Circle K in Chickamauga, near the Georgia-Tennessee state line, the lottery said in a May 27 news release. They claimed their winnings May 20, a lottery spokesperson said. Additional information wasn't immediately available. It's the latest big lottery win for the Peach State, coming about a week after a Fantasy 5 player won a whopping $749,445 jackpot in the May 20 drawing, McClatchy News reported. That ticket was sold at a Chevron Food Mart in Morrow, lottery officials said. Winners in Georgia have 180 days to claim prizes on draw games and 90 days on instant games, or before the game ends, according to the Georgia Lottery. Chickamauga is about a 15-mile drive south from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
