DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two vehicles collided and hit a third vehicle in Champaign County Wednesday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Springfield Post is investigating a crash that was reported around 1:30 p.m. around the area of East Kanagy Road and Ludlow Road in Salem Township. Funeral services held for Morrow County deputy fatally shot on Memorial Day Investigation revealed a 1999 Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on Ludlow Road when a 2017 International MA025 truck traveling westbound on Kanagy Road failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The vehicles collided and traveled off the side of the road, where the MA025 truck overturned. The Ford Ranger struck an unoccupied 2016 Cadillac SRX that was parked on private property. The Ford Ranger driver was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight for a serious, non-life-threatening injury, according to OSP. 19-year-old flown to hospital after area crash

A 19-year-old is seriously injured after a crash in Champaign County on Wednesday, according to a spokesperson with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A preliminary investigation found that the driver of the box truck didn't stop at a stop sign and hit the pickup truck, the spokesperson said. Both vehicles drove off the side of Kanagy Road. The box truck overturned and the pickup truck hit an unoccupied Cadillac SRX parked on private property. CareFlight took the 19-year-old to Miami Valley Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to the spokesperson.
