Rossini Festival returns for 2025: What to know
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE)—The Rossini Festival is returning to Knoxville for its 22nd year on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Each year, the festival draws thousands of people to Knoxville to celebrate the global impact on the music, food, and culture of East Tennessee. The free event, presented by Knoxville Opera, is an annual International Street Fair featuring more than 75 artisans, food vendors and four outdoor stages.
Saturday rate for Market Square Garage begins under new Downtown Knoxville parking plan
The outdoor stages will be set up on Market Square, Union Avenue, Church Street and Clinch Avenue. Attendees will be able to watch performances showcasing opera, classical, jazz, gospel, ballet, modern dance and more.

Vendors will be set up throughout downtown Knoxville from Market Square to Church Avenue. Food vendors will offer a range of local and international cuisine, from tacos to Greek specialties to adult beverages, while hundreds of East Tennessee artisans will gather to show off and sell their wares.

Downtown Knoxville lists several options for parking, including:
City-County Building Garage – 400 Main Street
Dwight Kessel Garage – 900 State Street
State Street Garage – 500 State Street
Langley Garage – 407 Walnut Street
Locust Street Garage – 540 Locust Street
Main Street Garage – 550 West Main Street
Market Square Garage – 406 Walnut Street
Parking is free for city garages downtown on weekends, except for the Market Square Garage, which charges a flat $3 rate on Saturdays. This is a part of the City of Knoxville's new parking plan.
