Part of ongoing international cooperation and coordination in combating crime and apprehending offenders, the arrest was made following the issuance of a Red Notice against her by the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL). The Directorate stated that, in accordance with legal procedures and coordination with the Public Prosecution, the individual was handed over to the security authorities in the requesting country.
