Moore exits PFL tournament after Carlos Junior defeat
Ireland's Karl Moore is out of the PFL's light-heavyweight world tournament after a split decision defeat by Antonio Carlos Junior at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Moore was out-grappled by Brazil's former champion Carlos Junior and despite a strong final round, was unable to convince the judges he had done enough to claim victory. Guardrail upgrades planned for K-15 in Cowley County
COWLEY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Motorists traveling along K-15 in Cowley County should prepare for upcoming survey work as the Kansas Department of Transportation moves forward with plans for guardrail improvements. Before work starts, a crew member will contact property owners and tenants for permission to access private property. The field survey will begin around March 24 and cover seven locations along K-15. The designated survey area extends from one-third mile east of 31st Road to one-quarter mile west of the north K-15/U.S. 77 junction. Survey crews will use specialized instruments to map features along the corridor. Essential info for NCAA attendees at Intrust Bank Arena KDOT officials state that the survey is essential for collecting information needed to finalize the detailed design of the proposed improvements. The survey is expected to be completed by mid-May.
