'A moment of grave peril': David Lammy urges restraint after Israeli strikes on Iran
The British foreign minister, David Lammy, urged 'restraint and de-escalation' after Israel hit more than 100 targets in Iran, including nuclear facilities. 'I spoke to my Iranian counterpart today to urge restraint at this time, and calm. I recognise that this is a moment of grave peril in the Middle East,' Lammy told Sky News. He added the UK government was advising against travel to Israel at this time
