Israel vs Iran: What have the two sides hit, what damage has been caused?

The exchanges between Israel and Iran have continued for the third straight day.
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) claimed it hit Iranian Defence Ministry headquarters as well as the headquarters of its nuclear project.
Iran, meanwhile, launched a series of missiles against Israel.
The development came in the aftermath of Israel launching 'Operation Rising Lion' against Iran on Friday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that 'Rising Lion' was launched to 'roll back the Iranian threat to Israel's very survival'.

'This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat,' he said on Friday.
Tehran in turn launched 'Operation True Promise 3' against Tel Aviv.
US President Donald Trump on Friday urged Tehran to make a deal with the United States.
'Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,' Trump wrote on social media.
But what have the two sides hit thus far? What damage has been caused?
Let's take a closer look:
In Iran
Israel on Sunday hit the Iranian defence ministry headquarters in Tehran.
It also targeted the Organisation of Defensive Innovation and Research in the city.
'The IDF completed an extensive series of strikes on targets in Tehran related to the Iranian regime's nuclear weapons project. The targets included the Iranian Ministry of Defense headquarters, the headquarters of the SPND nuclear project, and additional targets, which advanced the Iranian regime's efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon and where the Iranian regime hid its nuclear archive," the Israel Defence Forces wrote on X.
'Tehran is burning," Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz wrote on social media.
'The Iranian dictator is taking the citizens of Iran hostage, bringing about a reality in which they, and especially Tehran's residents, will pay a heavy price for the flagrant harm inflicted upon Israel's citizens,' Katz added. 'If Khamenei continues to fire missiles at the Israeli home front, Tehran will burn.'

Tel Aviv also conducted a strike on the Shahran oil depot near the capital.
The drone strike on the Iranian natural-gas processing plant is said to have caused a 'strong explosion'.
This would mark Israel's first attack on Iran's oil and natural gas industry during the conflict and a dramatic escalation between the two countries.
The IDF also claimed it had hit 'storage and missile launch infrastructure sites' in western Iran.
Israel also hit two major gas fields in Iran's southern Bushehr province.

The IDF on Saturday said it had targeted an underground site in western Iran 'used for storing and launching surface-to-surface missiles and cruise missiles'.
It added that 'the senior figures who visited it in the past were also eliminated'.
Reports also came of a 'massive explosion' at a refinery linked to the South Pars gas field – the biggest in the world – in Kangan.
Iran said it had partially suspended work at the field.
A separate fuel tank near Tehran was also targeted.

Iran said Israel targeted a fighter jet hangar at Tehran's Mehrabad airport.
Visuals on social media showed a blaze and heavy smoke wafting from the hangar.
It said that around 60 people, including 20 children, were killed in an attack on a housing complex in Tehran.
Netanyahu on Saturday claimed Israel will 'strike every target' of Iran's regime.
In the 'very near future, you will see Israeli planes, the Israeli Air Force, our brave pilots, above the skies of Tehran,' he added. 'We will strike every site and every target of the Ayatollah's regime'.
The IDF on Friday claimed to have done 'significant damage' to the Natanz nuclear plant around 225 kilometres south of Tehran.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that the plant had been hit but said there was number increase in radiation levels.
Israel on Saturday killed a number of high-profile figures including Major General Hossein Salami, chief of the secretive Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General, Mohammad Bagheri, chief of staff of Iran's armed forces, Ali Shamkhani, a close aide to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC's air force.

Tel Aviv claimed to have killed nearly a dozen people involved in Iran's nuclear program.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that this is 'nothing compared to what they will feel under the sway of our forces in the coming days'.
In Israel
Iran on Sunday launched over one hundred missiles at Israel.
Haifa and Tel Aviv were the main targets.
Four people were killed in a missile strike near a house in northern Israel's Tamra.
Meanwhile, Israeli media said three more people were killed in Bat Yam.
Among the dead were a 10-year-old boy and a woman in her 20s.

Dozens of people were reportedly injured in the strikes.
A video on social media showed a blaze near the Haifa oil refinery.
Iran, ignoring Israel's threats, has warned that it will face a more 'more severe and powerful response'.
On Friday, Iran sent a barrage of barrage ballistic missiles and drones to target Israel.
Three people in Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion were left dead after a few missiles successfully penetrated the Iron Dome.

Iran's leaders remain defiant with President Masoud Pezeshkian vowing a 'more severe and powerful response'.
Meanwhile, the new Revolutionary Guards commander has vowed to 'open the gates of hell' on Israel, while officials have warned the US, UK and France against coming to Israel's aid.
US diplomat McCoy Pitt warned Iran on Friday, 'No government proxy or independent actor should target American citizens, American bases or other American infrastructure in the region. The consequences for Iran would be dire.'
