Conor McGregor video has people all saying the same thing
Conor McGregor's followers were less than impressed after viewing a video of the ex-UFC champ's latest workout. Now 36, McGregor hasn't entered the octagon since his loss to long-time rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 almost four years ago. An anticipated comeback against Michael Chandler didn't materialise last year due to training injuries, and no updates on McGregor's return are forthcoming from the UFC for this year. Despite not having competed recently, McGregor stays in the public eye via social media. The 'Notorious', without a fight lined up, posted footage of his intense bag session, completing ten solid rounds of various strikes. Still, the clips left fans questioning his capability, with some doubting whether he's still got it. "He'll never be the same again," one fan remarked. "He's gassed. Of course he can still fight... but for how long? Who can he beat? Conor vs Chandler is the fight to make," another offered their perspective, reports the Mirror. Another added their two cents, saying: "Man looks dead tired. It's a wrap Conor." A succinct comment from another fan was just: "Washed." One fan, considering the wealth McGregor has accumulated, hopes he won't return to the ring out of financial necessity, commenting: "Not going to lie, Conor is looking slow! Please DON'T fight again. You don't need the money,". The general feeling among enthusiasts is that McGregor's brilliance is fading, with his punches missing their previous sting. "Absolutely no speed or power behind those shots," one observer pointed out. "Yeah, he ain't coming back moving that slow, damn it," expressed another, in disappointment. However, despite the doubt cast by some, the MMA icon hinted at a potential comeback – albeit with a stipulation – dreaming of fighting in a full arena. "I'll only come back to a stadium," he proclaimed. In further online remarks, McGregor fueled the ongoing spat with Chandler, declaring: "IRON MIKE CHANDLER. Unfinished business." Following the buzz around UFC 314, Conor McGregor chimed in on social media, fired up about the lightweight clash between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett. Sharing footage of his own training session in Dubai, he wrote: "I am interested in the Chandler/Pimblett fight this weekend", making sure to include mentions for both UFC and its proprietors TKO. Pimblett would go on to deliver a show-stopping knockout in the third round, securing a major triumph in his career. Prior to the fight, McGregor made waves by placing a substantial bet on Chandler, which could have potentially raked in a whopping $2.5million. Pimblett didn't hesitate to address the situation post-fight, taking a swipe at McGregor's decision. "Even (Conor) McGregor putting money on Chandler to win, lad. The Irish-Scouse connection," Pimblett quipped during the UFC 314 press conference. He also called out McGregor for not backing him, saying, "He's meant to back me. And even never! So if he wants it, he can get it as well."

Paddy Pimblett explains why UFC 314 callout list didn't include Ilia Topuria
MIAMI – Paddy Pimblett made a statement with his performance Saturday at UFC 314. He then made a callout, or a series of them, on the microphone. Four names came to mind: Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira, and Arman Tsarukyan. One name was notedly missing, however. Ilia Topuria was not mentioned. But why? 'To be honest, I forgot about him,' Pimblett laughed, during a post-fight news conference. 'I forgot all about him or I would've mentioned him in the cage, you know what I mean? I don't call him 'Hand Sanitizer Boy' any more. … But like I said, I literally forgot all about him. That's how irrelevant he is. I'm ranked higher than he is at lightweight, so I'd love to welcome him to 155. Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and Topuria (16-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) have history stemming back to a March 2022 hotel altercation and online trash talk that led up to it. Pimblett finished Michael Chandler at Kaseya Center on Saturday, the consensus biggest win over his career. According to Pimblett, there are a lot of similarities between what he did to Chandler (23-10 MMA, 2-5 UFC) and what he'd do to Topuria. 'Apparently, he's sitting out and waiting for the title shot,' Pimblett said. What I just did to Chandler is half the blue print of beating him. He's even more of a midget than Chandler is. I'll do the exact same thing of what I did to Chandler. But as I said, anyone can get it, all the names I mentioned. And even McGregor, putting money on Chandler to win, lad? Like, the Irish-Scouse connection, lad. He's meant to back me but he never (does).' One way or another, Pimblett is gunning for title gold. He hopes for one more contender fight and then a championship bout. 2026 is his target year to be crowned. 'I want to be a world champion,' Pimblett said. 'I've always said that I'm going to be a world champion and beating a former champion like Charles Oliveira, who had two title defenses, he gets called the best submission artist the division has ever seen. So I'd like to go up against that because I think I've got better submissions than Charles Oliveira. … I f*cking hope so. 2026, I want that belt wrapped around my waist.' Paddy Pimblett tears into 'Mr. Irrelevant' Colby Covington after UFC 314 altercation

(Photo by Cooper Neill/Zuffa LLC) (Cooper Neill via Getty Images) Paddy Pimblett has officially arrived as a lightweight title contender. UFC 314's co-main event on Saturday featured a high-stakes lightweight clash between England's Pimblett and perennial top contender Michael Chandler. Given 25 minutes to work, Pimblett needed less than three full rounds to finish the former three-time Bellator champion with savage ground-and-pound. Advertisement Following his most significant and impressive win yet, Pimblett called his shot and targeted a top-five lightweight opponent next. Once backstage, however, it was three-time failed welterweight title challenger Colby Covington who came looking for a fight, interrupting Pimblett's post-fight media rounds and causing a brief stir. "Mr. Irrelevant, trying to stay relevant. The f***ing whopper," Pimblett said of the incident at UFC 314's post-fight press conference. "He just come over, started chatting s*** because he seen there was a camera. Come over, started to say, 'Ah, you fight scrubs.' He said something about Chandler being 2-4 or something. Isn't he 2-4 in his last six? Something like that. He's an absolute bum, lad. He's nearly 40, trying to stay relevant by jumping on me while there's a camera there. Just talking s***. "I seen him at Power Slap the other week and walked past him. Stared at him and he just looked at the floor like the little p**** boy he is. When there's a camera there, he tries to say something. But he got tethered. We all absolutely terrorized him." Advertisement Aside from being in a completely different weight class from Pimblett, Covington has also lost two straight and hasn't won a fight since March 2022. He's not on Pimblett's radar, nor should he be. Still, the interaction proved one of Pimblett's pre-fight predictions true: He swore he'd still be met with detractors, no matter how flawless of a performance he had against Chandler. And that's already coming true. "Every fight I have, the goal posts get moved," Pimblett said. "It's one of them. I'm used to it. I said it before the fight, 'Once I beat him, people will be like, ah, he was 2-4 in the UFC, he's washed, he's 38.' So they'll probably say the same, but I don't give a flying f***. I'm going to be ranked seven on Monday, so suck a d***." Advertisement Pimblett, 30, called for several fun potential matchups now he's broken into the top 10, targeting Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan. Any of those fights work for "The Baddy," assuming he doesn't jump right into a title shot next. As for a more wildcard opportunity, he'd also be open to fighting one of his doubters at UFC 314: Conor McGregor, who publicly bet $500,000 on a Chandler knockout win. "Anyone can get it. Even McGregor," Pimblett said. "Putting money on Chandler to win, lad. The Irish-Scouse connection. He's meant to back me and he never [does]. So if he wants it, he'll get muffed ears as well. Advertisement "I didn't think he'd go against me, to be honest. I thought he'd back me, lad. Not back Chandler. One of them, innit? What happened there, lad? ... If he ever wants to come back, I'll be here waiting." One person who doesn't doubt Pimblett is his boss, UFC CEO Dana White. After Pimblett's thumping dominance over the always dangerous Chandler, White sang the Brit's praises and promised he's on an upward trend with his future matchmaking. "People keep counting him out, but he keeps looking better and better and better every time he shows up," White said. "Paddy Pimblett showed tonight that he is the real deal. Beating Michael Chandler, and beating him the way that he did, I don't know how you can doubt the kid anymore. "He's in that spot now where he's going to be fighting top guys."
