Binghamton DPW prepares parade route for Saturday
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Wednesday morning, Binghamton DPW was painting the road green, gearing up this weekend's Parade Day festivities.
DPW crews have been out for the last two days, removing snow along the parade route, getting it ready for Saturday.
This is the 57th year of Parade Day, hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
The parade itself begins at 1:30 at the corner of Fayette and Court Street, featuring several pipe bands, dancers, floats, and much more.
Binghamton's Mayor Jared Kraham joined DPW crews this morning, and helped paint the Irish Green line down Court Street.
