President of Iran meets Omani, Iranian businessmen
Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran has met Omani businessmen and women and their Iranian counterparts to discuss mechanisms for strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries at Al Alam Palace in Muscat. His Excellency the President of Iran, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on a two-day official visit on Tuesday, May 27. Iranian President visits Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Muscat: President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited on Wednesday the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque within the framework of his current official to the Sultanate of Oman. Upon their arrival, the Iranian President and his accompanying delegation were received by Habib Mohammed Al Riyami, Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science. During the visit, the Iranian President and his accompanied delegation were briefed on the mosque's history, and its Omani and Islamic architectural designs. President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran went on tour of the mosque's facilities, such as the library, lecture hall and other facilities. At the conclusion of his visit, the Iranian President signed the VIP visitors' register, expressing his admiration of the mosque's designs and architectural artistry, which represent an outstanding example of Islamic architectural arts and its role in supporting and enhancing Islamic studies. The Iranian President was accompanied during the visit by several officials from both sides.

Iranian President to visit Oman on Tuesday
Muscat: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement :"To consolidate the long-standing friendly relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Iran, and to support existing bilateral cooperation, His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman the day after tomorrow, Tuesday. During the visit, several areas and aspects of mutual interest will be discussed."

5th round of Iran-US talks to take place in Rome
Muscat: The fifth round of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America of high stakes nuclear talk is set to take place later today in Rome. Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Oman Foreign Minister announced on his official account on X platform: 'The 5th round of Iran US talks will take place in Rome this Friday 23rd May.'
