TikTok Launches AI Tool to Animate Photos
Israa Farhan TikTok has officially launched TikTok AI Alive, an innovative image-to-video feature that brings static photos to life using generative AI. Announced on Tuesday, the feature is now available through TikTok's Story Camera, allowing users to transform still images into dynamic short-form videos with creative, atmospheric effects. Designed to enhance visual storytelling, TikTok AI Alive applies motion and sound to elements within a photo. For example, a serene beach snapshot can be animated with drifting clouds, shifting sky tones, and ambient wave sounds. Group selfies can also be brought to life, highlighting facial expressions and subtle movements. This marks TikTok's first major leap into image-to-video AI, building on its earlier text-to-image generator. While platforms like Instagram and Snapchat have integrated similar AI tools, TikTok is now taking the lead by offering native video generation from images within its app interface. Snapchat has indicated plans to introduce a similar feature, but TikTok has launched first. Each AI Alive video will carry an AI-generated label, alongside C2PA metadata: This ensures transparent identification of AI-created media, even when shared outside the platform. TikTok emphasised user safety and responsible AI use in its announcement. The company applies a multi-layered moderation system, reviewing the original photo, AI generation prompt, and the resulting video before it is shown to the user. Final safety checks occur once the content is published. To create an AI Alive video, users can open the Story Camera via the blue plus button on the Inbox or Profile page, select an image, and tap the AI Alive icon in the edit toolbar. read more UAE's Lunar Mission Delayed to Tomorrow Twitter Lifts Trump's Account Ban Scientists Find Evidence Of 10،000 Black Holes Surrounding The Center Of The Milky Way Galaxy Greenhouse In Antarctica Able To Grow Vegetables Without Soil Or Sunlight Moving Over China: U.S. Is Again Home to World's Speediest Supercomputer Technology The 10 most expensive cars in the world Technology Top 10 fastest cars in the world Technology Lasers Could Make Computers 1 Million Times Faster Technology Smart technology taking control of our lives News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War

Prince Hashim attends Al Israa wal Miraj celebration
Deputising of His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein attends on Monday a ceremony, marking the occasion of Al Israa wal Miraj (Petra photo) AMMAN — Deputising of His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein attended a ceremony on Monday, marking the occasion of Al Israa wal Miraj. The event, organised by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, took place at the cultural centre of the King Abdullah I Mosque. The Israa, followed by the Miraj, took place on Rajab 27, the seventh month of the Hijri lunar calendar, in the 10th year of Mohammad's prophethood. Islamic sources say the prophet was carried from the Holy Mosque in Mecca to the Farthest Mosque (Al Aqsa Mosque) in Jerusalem on a creature called Al Buraq, and in the company of the archangel Gabriel, who took him to heaven. During the ceremony, Minister of Awqaf Mohammad Khalaileh emphasised the importance of the occasion as a reflection of the nation's enduring commitment to its Islamic heritage and history. He described the event as an opportunity to honour the Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) journey and reaffirm the duty to protect Islamic sanctities. Khalaileh called for unity in support of the Kingdom's efforts to protect Islamic holy sites, especially in light of the increasing threats to Al Aqsa Mosque. "Anyone who believes that Muslims will give up even an inch of Al-Aqsa Mosque is deeply mistaken," he said. "Throughout history, Muslims have made great sacrifices to defend it, from the Pact of Umar to its liberation under Salahuddin Al Ayyubi. The Arab Army defended it bravely, and the martyrs rest along its walls, their graves standing as eternal symbols of their sacrifice." The event was attended by senior officials and dignitaries, including Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, the Grand Mufti of Jordan Ahmed Al Hasanat, the Chief Islamic Justice Abdulhafith Rabtah, Imam of the Royal Court Ahmed Khalaileh and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Awqaf Abdullah Aqil. Also present were Senator Ahmad Hlayel, Grand Mufti of the Jordanian Armed Forces Col. Hassan Mukhatereh, Mufti of the Public Security Directorate Col. Samer Hwamlah, senior military and civilian officials, and ambassadors of Arab and Islamic nations accredited to Jordan.

Al Israa wal Miraj anniversary
Ammon News - The Islamic world on Monday marks the anniversary of Al Israa wal Miraj, Prophet Mohammad's nocturnal journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension to heaven. The Israa, followed by the Miraj, took place on Rajab 27, the seventh month of the Hijri lunar calendar, in the 10th year of Mohammad's prophethood. Islamic sources say the prophet was carried from the Holy Mosque in Mecca to the Farthest Mosque (Al Aqsa Mosque) in Jerusalem on a creature called the Buraq, and in the company of the archangel Gabriel (known in Arabic as Jibril). There Prophet Mohammad led a congregational prayer of the prophets of God. After that, Gabriel took him to the heavens where he met prophets Adam, John, Jesus, Idris, Aaron and Moses. In the seventh heaven, he met Abraham, according to Islam Online, an authoritative Islamic web portal. During the divine journey, Allah ordered the five daily prayers for the Muslim nation. The prophet then returned to Mecca on the same night.
