MP Ashraf Beydoun said that ongoing Israeli violations are undermining the implementation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701. Speaking to LBCI, he stressed the need to establish a mechanism for demarcating the border with the occupied Palestinian territories, ensure a full Israeli army withdrawal, halt all violations, and reinforce the deployment of the Lebanese Army south of the Litani River. "I have full confidence in the Lebanese Army, and reaching safety is inevitable," he stated. Beydoun also praised President Joseph Aoun, saying he is "steering the ship" with a strong sense of patriotism and reinforcing national unity. The UAE underscored that these provocative, arbitrary practices represent dangerous incitement against Muslims, and are a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the holy city. The UAE stresses that the continued attacks by Israeli extremists and their incitement to hatred and violence constitute a systematic extremist campaign, that not only targets the Palestinian people but the entire international community, further escalating tensions at a time when efforts should be focused on ending the ongoing tragedy in the Gaza Strip. The UAE calls on the Israeli government to assume full responsibility, condemn these hostile acts, hold perpetrators accountable without exception to ministers and officials, and take urgent steps to prevent the exploitation of Jerusalem for agendas of violence, extremism and incitement. The UAE reiterates that failure to act will be seen as tacit approval that will only further deepen the cycle of hatred, racism, and instability. Furthermore, the UAE emphasised the need to respect the custodial role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan over the holy sites in accordance with international law and historical status, and not to compromise the authority of the Jerusalem Endowment Administration that manages the affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Qubbat Al Sakhrah, and the surrounding courtyards. The Ministry emphasises the UAE's categorical rejection of all practices that violate resolutions on international legitimacy and threaten further escalation. The UAE underscored the need to respect the status quo of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the importance of protecting all holy sites in Jerusalem, which symbolise coexistence and peace. In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced the 'reprehensible act, which violates the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.' He warned of the 'serious consequences of such provocations and the continued violations by Israeli forces, which are a flagrant breach of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, and a deliberate provocation of Muslims around the world.' Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and hundreds of Israeli nationalists visited the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday where they performed 'provocative' rituals at its courtyards amid heightened security measures. Palestinian traders in Jerusalem's Old City returned to their shops on Tuesday to clean up a day after a march by Israeli nationalists that saw scuffles, insults and acts of vandalism. Some had to use crowbars, hammers and wirecutters to regain access to their own shops after many were vandalized during the 'Jerusalem Day' march the day before.

Saudi Arabia called on the international community 'to hold the Israeli forces accountable for their dangerous and ongoing violations against Islamic sanctities and innocent civilians in the state of Palestine.'
