Muscat – Omani entrepreneurs are transforming their hobbies into thriving businesses, with innovative projects gaining commercial traction both locally and internationally. One such success story is Seven Fries, Oman's first homegrown brand specialising in fresh French fries. Founded in 2021 by Issa bin Saleh al Aghbari in Seeb, Muscat Governorate, Seven Fries has quickly grown, expanding to three branches in Muscat and Dhofar within just two years. The brand was selected from over 300 Omani businesses in the franchise programme by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, leading to an agreement for further brand development. In 2024, Seven Fries secured its first commercial franchise in Al Amerat, followed by another in Ibri, Al Dhahirah. The brand has also expanded internationally, signing franchise agreements in Erbil (Kurdistan Region), Baghdad (Iraq), and Islamabad (Pakistan), along with an exclusive contract in India. Looking ahead, Aghbari revealed plans to open 300 branches in India, tapping into one of the world's largest markets. He also noted growing franchise interest from global markets, particularly the US, signalling a new era of Omani entrepreneurship on the world stage.

Founded by Issa bin Saleh al Aghbari in 2021 in the Wilayat of Al Seeb, the brand has quickly grown, opening three branches across the Governorates of Muscat and Dhofar in under two Fries gained further momentum when it was selected from over 300 Omani brands participating in the franchise programme led by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This recognition paved the way for Al Aghbari to sign an agreement with the Chamber to enhance and expand the 2024, Seven Fries had already begun its franchise journey, launching its first franchised outlet in Al Amerat, Muscat, followed by another in Ibri, Al Dhahirah. The brand's rapid growth extended beyond Oman, securing franchise agreements in Erbil (Kurdistan Region), Baghdad (Iraq), Islamabad (Pakistan), and an exclusive contract in India. Looking ahead, Al Aghbari envisions 300 branches in India, capitalising on its vast consumer base.
