As the rumours gained traction, Vázquez issued a statement addressing the wave of hate and even death threats she says she received online. Yamal has since denied any romantic involvement with Vázquez. According to Sport , TV reporter Javi de Hoyos reached out to the teenager, who 'categorically denies' the rumours and insisted 'they have nothing going on.'
De Hoyos even suggested Vázquez might be linked to someone else at the club, not Yamal. For now, the young star is focusing on recharging before reporting back to Barcelona for pre-season in Asia, as he prepares to celebrate his 18th birthday and continue building on his breakout year.
