EDM sensation Kygo makes a much-awaited return to Dubai
Dubai has undoubtedly established itself as one of the world's premier destinations for EDM. Regularly hosting the likes of David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and Tiesto, the city has become a favourite playground for some of the industry's most iconic DJs. Now, joining this illustrious lineup, Kygo is set to make his much-awaited return to Dubai. Taking place on Friday, 30 May, Kygo will take to the stage at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Expect an electrifying evening of house beats and chart-topping hits. For those unversed, Kygo, born Kyrre Gorvell-Dahll, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer who has taken the music world by storm. He first gained international attention in 2013 with his remix of Ed Sheeran's 'I See Fire.' His debut single, 'Firestone,' released in December 2014, further solidifying his place in the industry, amassing millions of streams. Over the years, Kygo has delivered numerous hits, including collaborations like 'First Time' with Ellie Goulding, 'It Ain't Me' with Selena Gomez and 'Remind Me To Forget You' with Miguel. He's also received several accolades, such as the YouTube Music Awards, International Dance Music Awards and iHeartRadio Titanium Awards. The upcoming gig at Coca-Cola Arena isn't Kygo's first show in Dubai. He previously wowed the audience in 2017 when he performed at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai. The performance marked Kygo's debut Middle East performance, and after seven years, he's finally returning to Dubai. If you love live music, plenty of international acts are coming to the country. Usher will perform at Club Social in Abu Dhabi on 19 April, Ed Sheeran will headline Off Limits Festival in the capital on 26 April, and Guns N' Roses will perform at Etihad Park on 27 May. Pre-sale tickets for Kygo at Coca-Cola Arena will begin at 12pm today, followed by a general sale on Thursday, 20 February, at 9am.
