Marc Marquez wins Italian MotoGP 2025, extends lead over brother Alex
Marc Marquez of Ducati Lenovo claimed victory at the Italian MotoGP 2025, taking place at the Mugello Circuit in Tuscany on Sunday.
The Spaniard finished ahead of brother Alex Marquez, who also sits second in the world standings, while Fabio Di Giannantonio rounded up the podium.

Marquez completed a perfect weekend in Italy, claiming pole, winning the sprint and wrapping up the weekend with another race win, securing his fifth win from nine Grands Prix and his first at Mugello since 2014.
He now holds a 40-point lead over Alex, strengthening his bid for a seventh elite world title, which will bring him level with all-time great Valentino Rossi.
The six-time MotoGP champion has now won the sprint and main race at the Thailand, Argentina, Qatar, Aragon and Italian MotoGPs so far in 2025.
