Michael Jordan Accidentally Photobombs Family's Italian Vacation

Source: Don Juan Moore / Getty Michael Jordan has found himself in the middle of a TikTok trend, and he doesn't even know it. The holy airball trend has users showcasing instances where someone underestimated a statement they made, only to flex on them in the end. One of the best we've seen by far is by an account named TravelinAng who was on vacation with her family in Venice, Italy. The post featured three photos, with the first reading, 'Told my parents I think that's someone famous,'' referring to who was sitting behind them. 'Really? Should we turn around?' the second slide reads before the third reveals a zoomed-in photo of Michael Jordan. The 6'6' Chicago Bulls legend can be seen in his signature black t-shirt and sunglasses, enjoying a drink as he talks on the phone with a cigar in his other hand. Jordan's not the most social person, but Jordan Brand's official TikTok account, Jumpman23, hopped in the comments, responding with the slightly embarrassing grinning emoji with a single head of sweat on his forehead. TravelinAng then hopped in the comments as questions about Jordan began to come in, saying that while she didn't get an autograph, he did come up and shake the family's hand and crack some jokes before leaving. She added that she knew for sure it was definitely him when she saw he was rocking Air Jordans and his hoop earrings. The comment section was flooded with folks surprised to see the GOAT out and about alone with no security. But fans should expect to see him a lot more often come next NBA season when he signs on as a special contributor with NBC. It marks his first time offering coverage of the modern game since he retired in 2005, and he's excited to give his opinion on the same network that hosted his six championship-winning seasons. 'I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,' Jordan said in a statement. 'The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I'm excited about being a special contributor to the project. I'm looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.'
