Local pizzeria expanding with location in Hilliard
HILLIARD, Ohio (WCMH) – A pizzeria that has been serving slices for more than 30 years at several shops across Ohio is expanding with a location in Hilliard.
Gionino's Pizzeria is opening its newest shop at 5068 Cemetery Rd. on May 12 at 11 a.m. The shop is holding a grand opening to celebrate the new pizzeria, offering a variety of specials including free pizza slice giveaways, buy one, get one deals and much more.

Known for its brand as 'Your Hometown Pizza Favorite,' Gionino's launched in 1990 by brothers Sam and Chuck Owen in Tallmadge, Ohio, according to the company website. Since then, the pizzeria has locations across the state with two in central Ohio in Westerville and Pickerington.
The pizzeria uses 'high-quality' ingredients to make its signature pizza, along with its JoJo wedges, Italiano Fried Chicken and more items on its menu. Once the shop opens, Gionino's will also serve subs, salads, wings, tenders and more.
