Three arrested in missing woman murder probe bailed
Three people arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman last seen 15 years ago have been released on bail pending further inquiries, as searches of a property in Derby continue. Izabela Helena Zablocka, who is originally from Poland, came to work in the UK in 2009 and lived in the Normanton area. Her family lost contact with her in August 2010, and despite their efforts to trace her, Ms Zablocka has never been found. Derbyshire Police launched an investigation into her disappearance after receiving a missing persons report last week and believe she is dead but said no remains had been found. Forensic teams and officers have been searching an address in Princes Street as part of the investigation and will remain there for the "coming days". Two women, aged 39, and a man, aged 41, were arrested on suspicion of murder, but on Wednesday the force said they had been released on bail pending further inquiries. Supt Becky Webster said: "Due to information we received recently, we believe Izabela is dead, however we have not yet found her remains. "I understand that this will cause concern amongst the community, not least due to the time passed since Izabela's disappearance. "We believe the answers around her disappearance are in the community - people will have known her, people will have worked with her and people will have socialised with her. "No matter how insignificant you think it is, please come forward and speak to us or CrimeStoppers. "You may hold the key to bringing answers to Izabela's family."
