Three-year-old girl dies after car driven by father skids into tree in Johor
KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 — A three-year-old girl was killed when the Perodua Myvi driven by her father skidded and crashed into a tree in Adda Heights Park in Johor Baru shortly after midnight. In the 12.30am incident, the girl's parents sustained serious injuries after becoming trapped in the vehicle. Senior Fire Officer II Izwan Abdullah from the Tebrau Fire and Rescue Station said the vehicle is believed to have lost control before veering off the road and crashing. 'Upon arrival, we found three victims inside the vehicle. Two — a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman — were trapped in the front seats and sustained injuries,' he said. 'The third victim, a young girl, was not trapped but was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel.' The injured victims received initial treatment before being taken to Sultan Ismail Hospital. The girl's body has been handed over to the police for further action.

Child dies, two injured in skid-off
JOHOR BARU: A young girl was killed and two others injured after the car they were travelling in skidded off the road along Jalan Adda 5 in Taman Adda Heights just after midnight. In the incident, the Perodua Myvi carrying the trio is believed to have lost control before veering onto the road shoulder. Tebrau Fire and Rescue station operations commander Senior Fire Officer II Izwan Abdullah said a team dispatched to the scene found all three victims trapped inside the vehicle as a result of the crash. "A 24-year-old male sustained injuries, while a 23-year-old woman was seriously hurt. Both were trapped in the front section of the vehicle. "A young girl was also found in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel," he said. The two injured victims received initial treatment at the scene before being transferred to Sultan Ismail Hospital for further care. The girl's body was handed over to the police for further action.
