The Philadelphia airport's new Chase lounge has arcade games and local bites
Philadelphia International Airport just added a swanky new lounge, featuring local bites, free facials and a game room.
Why it matters: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club could become PHL's hottest hangout.
Driving the news: The new 20,000-square-foot space opened Thursday between Terminals D and E, post-security.
What to expect: Eat curated dishes from Fishtown's Middle Child Clubhouse and sip Philly-based Elixr Coffee.
Or you can order local craft brews in the lounge's beer garden, and admire a mural from local artist James Burns.
There's a game room with retro arcade machines, a family room and play area, and communal work spaces.
Free facials are also available, along with access to private rest pods and showers.
How it works: Access is free and limited to Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve and The Ritz-Carlton credit card holders.
Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can each bring in two free guests, and then $27 for additional guests.
Ritz-Carlton cardmembers may bring unlimited guests at no charge.
Children under 2 are free for those cardholders.
1 notable thing: The new lounge has gotten the attention of the Points Guy.
"This is easily the nicest lounge in the entire airport and could even be one of the best across the county," the popular travel blog declared in an Instagram post.
