Former Notre Dame forward JR Konieczny has found his next basketball home
As a South Bend native, JR Konieczny started his collegiate basketball career with Notre Dame, but after three seasons, he decided to enter the transfer portal. He was a very solid player for the Irish, although his production slipped during this past season, going for 7.7 points-per-game to 4.3. His rebound numbers also dipped, from 4.5 to 2.8 this year, and Konieczny also saw his minutes go down as well. Advertisement It was enough to push him to move on to another program, and on Monday, it was announced that Konieczny has committed to Florida Gulf Coast. While it's clearly not nearly the same type of competition that he faced in the ACC, it seems like he found a fit regardless.
