Held two weeks before of the global event of International Yoga Day, the event brought together around 1,000 yoga practitioners and enthusiasts, reflecting the growing cultural and spiritual significance of yoga. Yog Sangam was graced by Dr Sharad Nimbalkar, former vice-chancellor of Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, as the chief guest while Rambhau Khandwe, president of JSYM, presided over. Presidents of Hanuman temple and Jagadamba temple at Atrey Layout Avinash Indurkar and Dinkar Joshi respectively also sared the dais. The highlight of the morning was visually striking yogic formations by school children, capturing the spirit of harmony, strength, and focus that yoga embodies. It also showcased a mesmerising performance by nearly 1,000 yoga practitioners, who demonstrated a disciplined yoga sequence following instructions by Sanjay Mudgal. In his address, Dr Nimbalkar said, "Yoga nurtures not only the body and mind but also opens the path to spiritual enlightenment and social wellbeing." Khandwe highlighted the significance of this year's celebration, saying, "As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day, it is essential that we all commit ourselves to regular yogasana practice and spread the message of Shri Janardanswami far and wide." Atharva Dake rendered a soulful rendition on yoga practice. The event was compered by Sulabha Kulkarni while vote of thanks was delivered by Sushma Deshpande, followed by a collective rendering of Yoga Geet (yoga anthem) that brought the energetic morning to an inspiring conclusion.
