Notre Dame football offers massive Pennsylvania 2026 offensive tackle

Notre Dame football offers massive Pennsylvania 2026 offensive tackle There has been some interesting developments in Notre Dame football recruiting since they hired running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider away from Penn State. The Irish have gone after multiple prospects with ties to the Nittany Lions and on Thursday they did it again in offering 2026 Pennsylvania offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh. The 6-foot, 7-inch and 275-pound lineman is currently ranked as the No. 342 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. McKeogh is viewed as a PSU lean, but with the offer from Notre Dame, it could be in line for an official visit. He has scheduled one to Duke along with Penn State, but they aren't until June so there is plenty of time for the Irish to get one on the books. This is a recruitment to watch, as McKeogh's size is elite and could be a difference maker for Notre Dame. Penn State 2026 running back commit schedules an official visit to see Notre Dame

Penn State 2026 running back commit schedules an official visit to see Notre Dame (This story was updated to correct a misspelling/typo.) When Ja'Juan Seider made the lateral move from Penn State to Notre Dame, it was viewed as a big coaching win for the Irish. The addition of the former Nittany Lions running backs coach is looking like it could pay dividends on the recruiting trail as well. Current PSU commit Messiah Mickens has been on flip watch since the move, and now that has gotten even hotter. On Friday morning the nation's No. 169 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings scheduled an official visit to Notre Dame. It's becoming very evident that the relationship between the two is pushing for Mickens to highly consider making the move from the Penn State program to joining the Irish. It may come down to which 2026 running backs want to commit first, as Notre Dame has multiple targets that are highly considering joining the recruiting class. You'd have to expect that Mickens would be a take if he ends up flipping. This surely is a recruitment to monitor. Notre Dame hires Ja'Juan Seider away from Penn State to coach running backs

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame has hired running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider away from Penn State to do the same job for the Irish, coach Marcus Freeman announced Tuesday. Seider had been the Nittany Lions' running backs coach since 2018 and was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2022 and assistant head coach in 2023. He coached 1,000-yard rushers Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen this past season, and this year he will work with one of the nation's top returning backs in Notre Dame 1,100-yard rusher Jeremiyah Love. He takes over for Deland McCullough, who left to coach the Las Vegas Raiders' running backs. 'Ja'Juan is a great offensive mind,' Freeman said. 'He has coached multiple offensive positions, but his ability to recruit and develop high level running backs is exceptional. His experience utilizing multiple running backs effectively within the offense and simultaneously turning them into NFL talent is one of several reasons why he is a great fit for our program.' Seider was named the 247Sports Big Ten Recruiter of the Year in 2023 and was named a national top-10 recruiter by On3 in 2022 and 2019. Seider also has coached running backs at Florida (2017), West Virginia (2013-16) and Marshall (2010-12).
