North Jackson home damaged in fire

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) — A home was damaged Saturday night after a fire on Gibson Road in North Jackson. The fire happened just before 8 p.m. near Kirk Road. A viewer sent in a video that shows multiple fire departments on the scene. Jackson Township Fire Department was able to contain the fire to just the rear of the home, and the homeowner escaped safely. Two people were taken to an area hospital after an explosion in their house, which was under construction, in Grove City Thursday morning, originally reported by our news partner WCPO.
