Two arrested in connection with Lafitte Fisher High School arson case
LAFITTE, La. (WGNO) — Two men were arrested on Monday, April 28, following an arson investigation at Fisher High School in Lafitte.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, a burglary and arson is suspected to have happened at the school's athletic building on April 1, with another fire reportedly happening on April 6.

Between the two incidents, a significant amount of the building and a large amount of athletic equipment were destroyed. Additionally, some of the stolen goods were reportedly found by a National Park Service Ranger on April 4.
Investigators say there were 'a number' of evidentiary links between the incidents, and by April 24, warrants were issued for two suspects in the investigation, identified by the JPSO as 21-year-old Jacob Theriot, and 20-year-old Braden Bordelon, both of Marrero.
After their arrests, the two men allegedly admitted to their involvement in the incidents.
