🚨 Club León lose appeal to play in 2025 Club World Cup
The Court of Arbitration have officially rejected Club León's appeal to play at the 2025 Club World Cup.
The Liga MX club were originally removed from the competition for breaching multi-club rules, as the Grupo Pachuca also owns another team competing in the tournament.
As a result, a spot has opened up for one more team with LAFC and Club America likely to compete in a play-off game to determine the final place, worth an estimated $9.55m.
