Following the much-needed win at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Sunday, May 25th, Towns gave his heartfelt tribute to his mother, Jacqueline Cruz.

On the eve of Dominican Mother's Day, Karl-Anthony Towns gave a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Jacqueline Cruz. "Shoutout to my mom," he said post-game after securing the 106-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
Karl-Anthony Towns played a solid 32 minutes and 59 seconds, giving the Timberwolves a strong performance.
He finished with 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field, including 3 made three-pointers on 7 attempts. Towns also went 5-of-6 from the free-throw line, showing efficiency from the stripe.
On the glass, he dominated with 15 total rebounds, 14 coming on the defensive end. He added 1 assist, but also turned the ball over 6 times and committed 5 fouls. Despite those miscues, his +6 plus-minus showed his positive impact when on the floor.
The New York Knicks got strong performances across the board in their latest outing. Following Karl-Anthony Towns' lead, OG Anunoby played one of his most efficient games, scoring 16 points on just nine shots. He went 4-of-6 from deep and added a few key defensive plays, including three steals. Though he missed both free throws, his energy helped fuel the Knicks on both ends of the court.
Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges also pitched in with 23 and 15 points.

Neither shot the ball particularly well, but Brunson's 10-for-10 showing at the free-throw line made a big difference. Josh Hart, known for his hustle, added 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists.
New York finished the game shooting 43.6% from the field and 34.4% from beyond the arc. They hit 90% of their free throws and pulled down 46 total boards. Turnovers were an issue, though, with 14 giveaways limiting some of their momentum.
