OKC Metro HSSA: Transfer king Jaden Nickens at 4th school in 4 semesters
Basketball and football star Jaden Nickens, a Kansas recruit, is returning to Douglass High School, according to Jordan Davis of the Oklahoman.
It's the third transfer since his junior year for Nickens, including twice to Douglass.

See if you can follow this: Nickens started his junior year playing football at Millwood High School in Oklahoma. After the season, he was named an OKC Metro High School Sports Awards nominee.
For the spring semester, he transferred to Douglass, also in Oklahoma. While there he was named an HSSA nominee in boys basketball after helping Douglass win the Class 4A state title.
To start the 2024-25 football season, Nickens transferred to Sierra Canyon School in California. In December, he committed to Kansas.

And now, he's back to Douglass, in time for another postseason run.

Douglas is a 6-foot-3, 190 pound athlete who was once committed to Oklahoma. Now, he's hoping to play both football and basketball at Kansas.
The 2024-25 OKC Metro High School Sports Awards are June 10 at the Young Family Athletic Center. Tickets will be available soon.
