Now, residents can complete land mutation online from JDA's portal
Jaipur: In a major technological leap to curb land-related fraud, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) successfully integrated the 90A Portal, the e-Registration Portal, and the e-Dharti Portal. The integration helps residents complete the process of land mutation entirely online. Soon, JDA will roll out the e-mutation services on its portal. "This step has been taken with property management and transparency in mind. People will get relief from the service of auto mutation through the 90A API on the e-Dharti portal," said JDA Commissioner Anandhi. Officials said to facilitate this service, JDA has integrated its portal with the state govt's e-Dharti portal, 90A Portal, and the e-Registration Portal. This means all details related to a particular piece of land under JDA's jurisdiction are now available on the JDA's portal. "Now, under the present system integrated on the JDA's portal, residents and landowners can transfer land ownership immediately after the conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural use under Section 90A. Previously, after obtaining a 90A order, applicants often waited for land mutation for years, during which time the land technically remained under the name of the former owner, leading to a heightened risk of fraudulent sales," an official added. The new system ensures that once JDA issues the 90A order online, the application for mutation is automatically generated and sent to the respective tehsildar. After the tehsildar completes a brief verification process and inputs the required details, the mutation is immediately recorded in JDA's name on both the e-Dharti and Apna Khata portals. "If the tehsildars and other officials don't raise any objections, e-mutation shall be completed within a month. Another advantage of this system is that for every official involved in the process, there's a specific timeline. No official can sit on the application for days and must accept the application or raise objections," added the official . 23-year-old held from Noida for role in 28cr cyber fraud
Jaipur: Dholpur police Tuesday arrested a man from Noida for being part of a cyber fraud racket that swindled victims out of nearly Rs 28 crore under the guise of stock market investments. The accused was identified as 23-year-old Sagar Chaudhary from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Police said Chaudhary was part of a gang that operated fake investment websites displaying unrealistic returns to attract people. Promises of double or triple returns were made through screenshots circulated in WhatsApp and Telegram groups, which were managed by the gang members. Once individuals deposited their money, the gang either shut down the websites or deactivated the accounts, cutting off all communication. Circle officer, Dholpur City, Munesh Kumar Meena said the case came to light after a complaint was lodged at the cyber police station on Sept 12 last year by a person who lost Rs 22 lakh. Investigations revealed that the accused had connections to similar complaints registered in various states, with the total fraud amount reaching nearly Rs 28 crore. R'bore safari vehicle owners served notice
Jaipur: The forest administration at Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve (RTR) Tuesday issued notices to nine safari vehicle owners and drivers for violating safari protocols within the reserve. The violations occurred between June 19 and June 21 in Zone 2, where the vehicles were found making unauthorised U-turns inside the core area. The notice stated that such manoeuvres are strictly prohibited and constitute a violation under Section 28 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. These regulations are designed to minimise disturbances to wildlife, particularly in sensitive tiger habitats. "The vehicles were identified based on surveillance inputs and field monitoring. The concerned owners have been asked to provide an explanation within three days. Failure to respond may result in strict punitive action, including temporary bans, blacklisting, or cancellation of safari registration," an official said. Evidence indicated that several gypsy and canter operators breached reserve protocols by getting dangerously close to tiger cubs.
