Puchong paper factory 80% destroyed in blaze

PETALING JAYA : A paper factory at Kampung Lembah Kinrara in Puchong was almost destroyed in a fire early this afternoon.
The Puchong fire and rescue department said it received a call at about 12.15pm and deployed a team to the site on Jalan Lembah Kinrara.
It said the factory, measuring about 100 sq ft by 120 sq ft, was 80% damaged.
'Updates will be provided in due course,' the department added in a statement.
Earlier, netizens shared footage of thick smoke billowing from the factory.
