Jaylan Mitchell announces transfer to Spire Academy
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Former Reitz Panther Jaylan Mitchell announced on his social media that he is transferring to Spire Academy for his junior season.
Mitchell is ranked as the eighth best player in the class of 2027, according to ESPN.
He averaged 16.8 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game in his sophomore season for the Panthers.
Other notable athletes to play for Spire Academy include LaMelo Ball of the Charlotte Hornets, Isaiah Jackson of the Detroit Pistons, and Jalen Pickett of the Denver Nuggets.
