Sharjah to host ‘Discover Kerala' event; 300 exhibitors to attend
Discover Kerala 2025, the seventh edition of the annual Indian Trade and Cultural Entertainment Exhibition, is set to be held in Sharjah from May 9-11. The exhibition is a leading platform to celebrate and promote Indian culture and Kerala in particular. Announcing the details, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expo Centre, which will host the event, said more than 300 exhibitors would participate in the exhibition, in addition to a number of government entities, major institutions, and private companies from various economic sectors in the UAE and India. The event is expected to attract more than 275,000 visitors. Enhancing business environment between Sharjah, India Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General for Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the Chamber's support for the exhibition comes as part of its vision to enhance the business environment in Sharjah and develop its economic relations with India, which is a key strategic trade partner for the UAE. He added the exhibition will provide an ideal platform to connect the business community in Sharjah with its counterparts in India, especially in Kerala, to explore and promote areas of mutual investment, identification of promising opportunities and facilitation of business partnerships. A catalyst for trade exchange Jamal Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communications Department, pointed out that the "Discover Kerala" exhibition attracts a large number of businessmen, investors and companies from various vital economic sectors. He added the exhibition promotes Indian products and services in the region's markets, and in return introduces the Indian business community to the promising opportunities available in Sharjah. SCCI, ECS announce ‘Come On Kerala' to kick off on May 9
Held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the exhibition will take place from May 9 to 11 at Expo Centre Sharjah. 'Come On Kerala', organized by Gulf Madhyamam newspaper in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber, stands as the largest Indian international trade fair in the Middle East and a leading platform celebrating Indian culture, with a particular focus on the state of Kerala.
