Two-day music festival to take place this summer in Glasgow
The event, named In the City, will be held at the newly revamped Barrowlands Music Park on Gallowgate in the East End of the city.
The music festival will take place over two days, from 2pm until 10pm on August 23 and 24.

The festival will boast a line-up of international artists and local talent.
Genres such as reggae, trip-hop, hip-hop, and electronic music will be featured, with the event aiming to create a new live music hub in the East End of the city.

On day two, the festival will host hip-hop pioneers The Sugarhill Gang and The Furious Five.
A spokesperson for In the City said: "This two-day event is more than a music festival, it's a celebration of Glasgow's UNESCO City of Music status and its creative spirit, hosted in the community space of Barrowlands Music Park.
"We're bringing together leading artists and DJs from BBC Radio 6, world music, and hip-hop, while shining a spotlight on homegrown talent straight from the streets of G1."
