Pennsylvania woman charged in DC with distributing child pornography
WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A Pennsylvania woman was charged for distributing child pornography in the District, the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) said Wednesday.
The USAO said an undercover officer with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD)-FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force was monitoring an online group where people meet to discuss and trade photos of children.

While in the group, 24-year-old Jamie Greer Spies messaged the officer that she was interested in photos that portrayed the sexual abuse of young children, the USAO said.
Spies then reportedly distributed multiple photos and videos of children being sexually abused, some of which included infants and toddlers.
Spies was arrested on May 2 and federally charged with distributing child sexual abuse materials (CSAM).
